Leroy Award 2025 offered to Antonella Baldi

Professor Antonella Baldi (Italy) has been honoured by the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP) for her outstanding contributions to the field.

The EAAP Council members and Scientific Committee have conferred to Prof. Baldi 2025 Leroy Award in recognition of her exceptional work in animal nutrition.

With over 30 years of active involvement in research, Prof. Baldi’s  main research lines pursued focused on the role of nutrition in animal welfare, health, and production in the main livestock species, with particular emphasis on ruminants. Her research is recognized both nationally and internationally. As a highly esteemed keynote speaker at international conferences, Prof. Metges continues to share her expertise with the global scientific community. The award given to Prof. Baldi by the EAAP Council members and Scientific Committee underscores her unparalleled contributions to animal science.
