Outcomes of the 211th EAAP Council Meeting

On December 1st, 2025, the 211th EAAP Council meeting was held online. During the session, members discussed future editorial strategies, including potential publishers for the journal animal and publications for Animal Frontiers. The Council proudly highlighted the growth of the Industry Club, which has reached 19 members, and confirmed the progress made in organizing the 2026 Annual Meeting in Hamburg. Reflections were also shared regarding the recent Annual Meeting held in Innsbruck. A key point of discussion was the new standardized electoral procedures for the Study Commissions, aimed at ensuring greater transparency and efficiency. The Council also addressed issues regarding membership fees for certain member countries, discussed the new working group on ethics, and outlined the workshops planned for 2026. The next Council meeting is scheduled for March 2026.
