News from our Newsletter translation team!

We started the new year with several updates about our translators: a new member has joined our team! Adrián Halvoník is the new translator for the Slovak version. He is a researcher at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. His research focuses on population genomics, genetic diversity, and the conservation of animal genetic resources, with a particular emphasis on endangered livestock breeds. He works primarily with SNP data, applying population structure analyses and genomic diversity metrics to support sustainable breeding and conservation strategies. Welcome to our family, Adrián!
Meanwhile, two translators, Mariana Almeida (Portuguese) and Nina Moravčíková (Slovak), are leaving the project after four years of volunteering for the EAAP Newsletters. The Portuguese version is now managed by Flávio Daniel Gomes da Silva, who was already working as a co-translator together with Mariana.
We would like to thank both Mariana and Nina for their active support, commitment, and hard work in translating the newsletters and for contributing to the dissemination of our content, helping to expand our network. Thank you, Mariana and Nina!
