Application for EAAP Scholarship 2022 is open!

The on-line application platform for EAAP Scholarships is open! EAAP is happy to provide this year the same number of scholarships offered in 2021: up to 20 applicants will receive financial support to attend the next EAAP Annual Meeting in Porto!

Instructions for Applicants
Only applicants who are born after September 1st 1984, and who are individual members of EAAP can apply for the grant supporting participating to the EAAP Annual Meeting. Applicants who have previously obtained a scholarship cannot reapply within 3 years. If you are not an individual member, you can easily apply on EAAP dedicated webpage (if you are from a European country, you can likely
apply for free).

Before 1st March 2022 – To be sent to the EAAP
For each applicant, the EAAP Secretariat in Rome (eleonora@eaap.org) should receive:

  • Name, address, email and phone number, date of birth and short CV
  • Name and address of the institution where he/she works.
  • The paper that the applicant intends to present, written in English. The paper should not exceed 5 pages including tables, figures and references.The contribution should be in line with the agenda of one of the provisional sessions (joint or single ones).
  • A copy of the original abstract form (in English), completed in accordance with the instructions given by Wageningen Academic publishers.

By 1st March 2022
Abstracts must be submitted through OASES. Please follow the instructions carefully. If you encounter problems downloading the form or guidelines, please contact Wageningen Academic Publishers (eaap2022@wageningenacademic.com).

By 30th April 2022
The EAAP secretariat in Rome will inform the applicants of the result of the examination of their application by the Board of Examiners.

Successful applicants will receive information on the conditions and uses of the lump sum in line with the Scholarship Fund. The successful applicants will be informed by the relevant Commissions’ Presidents on the presentation method chosen for the paper at stake.
Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified about the outcome of their submissions. Failure to obtain a scholarship does not mean the automatic removal of the abstract from the conference program.
These applicants will also be informed by the relevant Commissions Presidents on the method of presentation chosen for their contributions.
Please remember that EAAP individual membership is mandatory to obtain the Scholarship!
