EAAP and European Livestock Voice: Partnering for Science-Based Info

EAAP is glad to announce a new partnership with European Livestock Voice (ELV), a coalition of over a dozen European organisations representing farmers, veterinarians, researchers, and sectors along the livestock value chain. ELV works to promote balanced, science-based communication about livestock farming and to address the growing spread of misinformation that is affecting the sector’s public image and policy debates. This collaboration produced video interviews by Andrea Bertaglio with ELV featuring scientists in the “EAAP area”, marking the launch of a joint initiative to strengthen the dialogue between science, decision makers and society. By combining EAAP’s research expertise with ELV’s communication reach, the partnership aims to make factual, evidence-based perspectives more accessible to policymakers, media, and the public. In the next few weeks, we will see the ELV speaking with some of the experts in our network. Together, we hope to foster a more informed and constructive understanding of livestock production in Europe. In another section of this Newsletter number, you can find the interview to the EAAP Past President, Philippe Chemineau. Next videos will be available through next Newsletters and EAAP Socials.
