EAAP Annual Meeting 2021 in Davos, Switzerland

EAAP and the Swiss Local Organizing Committee for the 2021 EAAP Annual Meeting wish to inform you that, despite the trouble caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 Annual Meeting will be held from 30th of August to 3rd of September, as originally planned. The structure of the meeting is not completely finalised yet since it depends on future pandemic developments and the related governmental restrictions. The option that we are currently considering is to hold a hybrid meeting, that is to have an on-site meeting in Davos with selected sessions offered virtually. We want, in fact, to meet in person in Davos and at the same time offer a robust virtual scientific program for those who can’t join us there.

The EAAP Scientific Committee is already constructing the draft scientific programme and the local organizers are taking care of all the necessary arrangements. All other practical organizational features that take place in a normal year will shortly be ready. Therefore, we can confirm that the abstract submission system will soon be open with a deadline, like every year, of midnight (CET) on March 1st. The registration process will be delayed since we wish to be sure about the organizational structure of the meeting and is planned to start on March 1st also. We will take all necessary measurements to avoid any health or financial risks for participants and to allow an inspiring scientific meeting.
