EAAP Secretary General Visits Valencia in Preparation for 2028 Annual Meeting Candidacy

The Secretary General of EAAP recently visited Valencia to meet with local scientists and assess the city’s readiness to host the 2028 EAAP Annual Meeting. The visit proved highly satisfactory, highlighting the strong support from the local scientific community, among the others the positive and efficient support from Noelia Ibañez-Escriche and Juan José Pascual. Furthermore, we considered the prominence of the Universitat Politècnica de València in the field of animal science, and the suitability of the proposed facilities for the event. Valencia also stands out as an attractive and well-connected destination, with numerous direct flights linking it to major cities across Europe. Additionally, Spain boasts one of the most active and largest animal science networks in Europe, further strengthening the city’s candidacy to host the meeting.
