Enhancing Multilingual Communication: Inaugural Meeting of EAAP Newsletter Translators
During the Lyon conference, we seized the opportunity to convene the inaugural meeting of the EAAP Newsletter translators. As you may already be aware (please refer to our website: https://eaap.org/publications/translated-newsletters/), the EAAP Newsletter is currently translated into Croatian, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovakian, Slovenian, and Spanish languages. This milestone gathering brought together the translators and EAAP staff to engage in discussions regarding various aspects aimed at enhancing our services. The primary objectives of this initiative include expanding the range of languages available for translation and increasing the number of recipients who receive these translated versions. It is worth noting that in addition to their regular distribution in EAAP countries, Portuguese and Spanish versions are also forwarded to select South American animal science networks. This has resulted in an impressive response, with approximately 1000 downloads for each issue.
