EUROFAANG workshops!

Registration for the EuroFAANG Ontology Improvement Workshops is now open. EMBL-EBI will be hosting two virtual workshops on utilising the new Ontology Improvement Tool within the FAANG Data Portal on:

– Thursday 21st September 1-3pm BST

– Thursday 19th October 1-3pm BST

To register for the workshop(s) please complete this form. These workshops have been developed as part of the EU H2020 BovReg project for EuroFAANG. Once registered a zoom link will be shared with you closer to the event. Please note that these links should not be shared so please register individually for the event.

The workshop will include an:

introductory talk on FAANG ontologies
overview of how to use the new FAANG Data Portal Ontology Improvement Tool
breakout sessions by project/species to collectively try out the tool on your ontologies of interest.

Your feedback and experience from using the new ontology improvement tool will help finalise development of the service.
