Guided Poster Tours in Lyon

Several years ago, EAAP introduced Poster Guided Tours to foster meaningful interaction between presenters and experts, facilitating in-depth discussions. The tours showcase exceptional posters from the 2023 submissions and encompass eight guided sessions covering a diverse range of topics within the Scientific Program. Participating in this year’s Poster Guided Tours are the following Study Commissions: Horse SC, Insects SC, Livestock Farming Systems SC, Nutrition SC, Physiology SC, and Precision Livestock Farming SC. Those interested in the sessions organized by these Study Commissions are encouraged to join. Tour participation will be limited to 10 attendees per session, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to participate, please register on dedicated lists (one per guided tour) available at the EAAP desk starting Monday morning. During the tours, poster presenters will explain their work, share key findings, and engage in interactive discussions. Each presenter will have a 5-minute
slot for their presentation and discussion. Tours start from the EAAP stand, providing microphones and headsets for attendees’ convenience. Kindly assemble at the EAAP stand 5 minutes before the tour’s commencement. A microphone will be provided to tour guides for participant audibility, while wireless headsets will be distributed to participants. Following a brief presentation (no more than 3 minutes), the tour guide will facilitate interactive discussions with attending participants. We recommend that poster presenters offer handouts of their abstracts/ posters (including contact details) to facilitate future communication.
