Please be advised of an important update regarding the 1st “World Conference on Animal Fiber Production”. Originally scheduled for June, this landmark event has been officially rescheduled and will now take place from October 26 to 31, 2026, in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China. Organized under the patronage of the World Association of Animal Production (WAAP) this congress is an unmissable opportunity for anyone involved in animal fibre production, including wool, cashmere, mohair, and silk. As the first major global forum dedicated entirely to fine fibre-producing species—ranging from wool sheep and Angora goats to camels and South American camelids—the conference promises to stimulate crucial knowledge exchange. Participants will have the unique chance to share their expertise and help implement innovative practices on a worldwide scale. The abstracts submission will soon be opened, as well as registration opportunities to participate to the conference. We look forward to welcoming you this October!
