Preparations Underway for the Next EAAP Annual Meeting in Hamburg

On Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd February the EAAP Secretariat (Andrea Rosati and Eleonora Azzaro) together with Hans Spoolder (Secretary of the EAAP Scientific Committee) the German local organising committee (Hans Willi Warder, Bettina Bongartz, Georg Thaller, Christian Lambertz., Peter Sanftleben, Andriy Getya, Jan-Hendrik Schneider) and the PCO event lab. GmbH (Katja Störmer, Susanne Jansen, Katja Bornschein, Sabrina Schmidt, Magdalena Schnelle) visited the CCH – Congress Centre Hamburg, venue for the next EAAP Annual Conference that will be held from 7th to 11th September 2026. During the meeting, the team conducted a detailed evaluation of the facilities that will host the conference, ensuring they meet the high standards expected for such an important gathering. Discussions also focused on various aspects of the event, including the scientific programme and the social activities planned for participants. This collaborative effort reflects the shared goal of all parties involved to deliver a successful and impactful Annual Meeting. We remind you that Abstract submission for the event is open and details about the 2026 Annual meeting are available on the website. The deadline for submission of the abstract will be March 1st, 2026. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate to the most important European event of animal science!
