Marija Špehar is working at the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food at the position of general advisor for science and research. She is responsible for genetic evaluation of dairy cattle, sheep and goats. Her research activities are focused on application of genomic selection in breeding, and designing and optimisation of breeding programmes.
