Reference database for cattle breed images

The FAO Division for Animal Production and Health is currently developing an AI-based software application to help identify cattle breeds in the field. The accuracy of the results will depend on the quantity and quality of the breed images. A large number of images per breed are required to train the tool. The FAO cordially invites the EAAP community to contribute to the establishment of a reference and training database. In a first step, the tool will only consider cattle breeds. To contribute, please visit the link here, select a country and a cattle breed and upload as many images as possible. The application will be made publicly available.
