Report of EAAP President visit in Romania

The president of EAAP, Isabel Casasús, visited Romania last week in order to strengthen the relationship with our Romanian members.

At the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, our institutional member, she met the Secretary of State Antal Szabolcs Barabasi,
the Director General for Agricultural Policy Ms. Elena Tatomir, the Director of Animal Husbandry Policy Ms. Maria Toma, and representatives of the Directorate General for European Affairs and International Relations. Hosted by Prof. Dr. Horia Grosu, Isabel had
a hybrid meeting at the National Research and Development Institute for Animal Biology and Nutrition (INCDBNA-Balotești) with more than 60 scientists and representatives of the livestock sector. Finally, she also visited the University of Agronomic Sciences and
Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest and the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. In all these meetings she had the opportunity to present the activities and services that EAAP can offer to animal scientists, students, technicians and stakeholders in the Romanian livestock farming sector, and encouraged them to become individual members of EAAP and enjoy the benefits of being part of our network.
