The EAAP Newsletter in Portuguese language
Following the new activity of translating the EAAP Newsletters in national languages that we began few weeks ago with the editions in Romanian and in Slovakian, we celebrate now a new language: Portuguese! We are increasing the possibility to disseminate science and news to everyone interested, regardless the spoken language. Since this issue, we are having the Portuguese translation of the Newsletter, for the benefit of Portuguese animal scientists and technicians who find difficult to read English. This neo-Latin language is spoken in the
beautiful European Atlantic country but also in other important non-European countries such as Brazil, Angola, Mozambique and few others. The translation and organization of the Portuguese version is cared by a young researcher, Mariana Dantas de Brito Almeida, supported by the Institute in which she works, Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e de Alto Douro. Mariana Dantas, like Nina Moravcikova for Slovakian and Gabriela Cornescu for Romanian, will create the national version of the EAAP Newsletters and she will deliver it at interested readers. EAAP plans in the future to look for cooperation in other countries to distribute Newsletters in national languages.
